Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-06-10

Edu2U is in early access. These terms govern your use of the service today. We’ll update them as the product matures and notify users of material changes.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Edu2U, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service. If you’re using Edu2U on behalf of a school, you represent that you have the authority to bind that school to these terms.

2. What Edu2U is

Edu2U is a software service that helps school owners, staff, and parents manage day-to-day operations: enrollment, attendance, daily logs, communications, fees, and related administrative work. We provide the platform; the school owns the operation.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You’re responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account.
  • School owners are responsible for the accounts they invite into their organization (staff, parents).
  • Tell us promptly at support@edu2u.my if you suspect any unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t use Edu2U to:

  • Break Malaysian law or facilitate any illegal activity
  • Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or violates the rights of others
  • Access or attempt to access another school’s data
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise probe the service for vulnerabilities without our written permission
  • Use the service to send spam or unsolicited communications

5. Children’s data and parental consent

Edu2U handles personal data about young children. The school is responsible for obtaining parental consent for collecting and processing that data in line with Malaysian law (PDPA 2010) and the school’s own enrollment policies. By using Edu2U, the school confirms it has the necessary consent in place for the parents and children in its organization.

6. Payments

Payment processing inside Edu2U uses Billplz, a third-party payment provider. Card details and banking credentials are handled by Billplz directly, not by Edu2U.

During the early-access period, Edu2U uses Billplz’s sandbox environment for end-to-end testing. Production payment processing turns on as part of moving Edu2U out of early access and will be communicated clearly to all affected schools before any real charge is made.

7. Privacy

Your use of Edu2U is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep Edu2U available and working well, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability during the early-access period. Maintenance, bug fixes, and feature updates may temporarily interrupt the service. We will give reasonable notice for planned downtime where practical.

9. Data accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into Edu2U. The service displays what you (and your school) put in. We will work in good faith to fix bugs that affect data integrity, but we don’t accept responsibility for outcomes based on data the school or its users entered incorrectly.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by Malaysian law, Edu2U is provided “as is” during the early-access period without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim under these terms is limited to the amount you paid Edu2U in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or RM 100, whichever is higher.

11. Termination

  • You may stop using Edu2U at any time. Contact us to delete your account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice where appropriate.
  • On termination, we will provide a reasonable handover window for school owners to export their organization’s data before deletion.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service matures. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page is the source of truth for the current version.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Edu2U will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
